Boomerang's Production Process

Boomerang Studios has a simple approach:  Be Creative!

Creativity scares many businesses but it shouldn't. Creativity keeps the names

of Aflac and Geico Insurance in the minds of the customer.

Cost! It doesn't cost thousands to create a commercial, especially a creative

one? Well yes and no. Those national commercials you see are in the 100's

of thousands and in some cases millions to produce. We are NOT in that market.

We produce commercials that are of superb quality for the smaller business on the local and regional level.

The commerical below was shot for Lenco Credit Union in  Adrian, MI. We did it for about $850. That spot has out performed any commerical produced by a cable company.

About
Boomerang Studios
Production Process

1) Understand what you want in your production. Find an example if you can and bring it to the pre-production meeting. Know the length of the video, format, delivery options and how it will be used. Set your budget. Call Boomerang Studios.

2) Pre-production meeting; this is where we’ll determine the style of the video, find out if there are other locations, actors to hire and other considerations to bring your idea to life.

3) Script meeting; this can be done at the pre-production meeting but usually it’s not. If Boomerang Studios is writing the script we will need to have access to information about your company. If sensitive corporate secrets could be exposed you might want to write the copy and have Boomerang Studios put it into script form. Either way, Boomerang Studios will sign any non-disclosure agreements you require.

4) Script approval and signatures; this is an important step. It’s vital you look it over carefully.
The script is the Blue Print of the video.

5) Scheduling shoot dates.

6) Editing; this process can take weeks or months. It all depends on the complexity of the project. Videos that are simple edits with very little compositing and motion graphics can take considerably less time.

7) First review. Here is where you make sure everything is in the proper place and words on
screen are spelled correctly.

8) Final Cut. If all is in order, we get your signature of approval and we create what is called a master.

9) Media buying. We help you set a budget then work within it to meet your goals. Next we negotiate a great media buy with Cable or Networks. Then purchase the best time slots and shows that hit your target audience.
